All in all it was a lot of fun to see some cool cars taking it to the limit. I think that next time I would like to be driving one.

I had one of the best times driving ever Saturday night. I found out that the suspension on my car needs a lot more tuning as it under steers greatly and that driving the Corolla to its limit is a lot of work. I had several experienced people drive the car and they fought with it even more than I did.

It seems I had the best luck getting it sideways by flooring it and using the inertia to bring the back end around. It is hard to drift such an underpowered car and it was my understanding (from the people at the event) that the AE86 Corolla is extremely difficult to drift compared to the Nissan 240sx or RX-7s. I can vouch for that my 240sx was never this hard to get the back end around.

I would love to do some more tuning on the suspension and try my luck again but what is comes down to is money and my lack of it.

I guess I will have to be patient and save.
